Privacy Policy

TennisAC analyses your tennis videos and gives you coaching. This page explains what we collect to do that, what we do with it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored only as a secure hash, never in readable form.
• Your tennis profile: anything you fill in on your profile, like your UTR, playing style, dominant hand, racquet and favourite shots.
• Videos you upload: used only to run your analysis (see below).
• Your results: scores, coaching feedback, Point Play breakdowns and ball tracking numbers, so you can track your progress over time.
• Teams: which teams you create or join.
• Sharing: when you share a result, we count it, and we count how many times a shared result is viewed.

You can use TennisAC without an account. In that case we keep your results under a random guest ID in this browser instead of your name and email.

Your videos

Videos are processed on our own server and deleted as soon as the analysis finishes, whether it succeeds or not. We don't keep copies, and we never send your video to anyone else. Only the results of the analysis are saved.

How we use your information

• To analyse your shots and points and write coaching tuned to your profile.
• To save your history so you can see your progress and compare sessions.
• To run teams, shared results and the challenge leaderboard.
• To keep you signed in and keep the service working and secure.

We don't sell your information, and we don't show you ads.

Who else sees it

• Your coach: if you join a team, that team's coach can see your analysis history.
• Anyone with a share link: when you share a result, anyone with the link can see that result card.
• The challenge leaderboard: if you enter a result, it's shown publicly with your first name and last initial.
• Services that run TennisAC:
  • Render hosts the website, and Neon hosts our database. Both are in the United States.
  • For Point Play, we send Anthropic (the company that makes the Claude AI) a text description of the point: the ball tracking numbers, what you tell us about the point, and your tennis profile. Never your video, email or password. This is used to write your Point Play coaching.
  • Our fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google can see that your browser requested them.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you signed in, or to remember your guest results, for up to 360 days. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and results until you delete your account. Uploaded videos are deleted right after analysis, as described above.

Your choices

• You can update your profile at any time from Edit Profile.
• You can leave a team at any time, and your coach will no longer see your history.
• You can delete your account at any time from Edit Profile → Delete account. This permanently erases your account, your results, your shared result cards and any teams you coach.
• You can ask us for a copy of your information by emailing us at the address below.

Children

TennisAC isn't meant for children under 13. If you're under 13, please ask a parent or guardian before using it. If we learn we've collected information from a child under 13 without a parent's permission, we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that affects you, we'll update the date at the top and ask you to agree again.
